School's already started, here. :/ Which is fairly unusual for us..'cause typically, the later we get out, the later we start. This time they got out the end of May, and started August 25th. (when they usually let out mid/early-May, and start mid-August)

It's okay Gryphor, I don't think we'll die.
Huh, last year you did start later... but we still have, what, a couple days, here?

Heh! ;D Well wait until you get to be a freshman. If you make no one angry, then you'll be okay, and won't have to worry 'bout initiation. Nah, they probably won't initiate you. It's a weird year, but it's pretty much just J.H. but bigger.

Nah. At the school he's going to hazing met with charges being pressed, so he won't have to keep his head down too much.
Stay away from the redder necks, particularly the perenial seniors, and don't go chasing the girls, at least for your first couple of years, and you can survive high school.
Bear in mind the idea isn't to get through the public education system without any emotional scars, the idea is to tough up so you can handle the harder level that comes after that.
Bones are stronger where they've been broken.

I'm glad I didn't have to go to public high school. >.o I only have two more courses before my electives and I'm done. I know Dragyn said he's not fond of this word..but this definitely calls for a WOOT! =3

You best be avoiding me in real life, then. 'Cause not only do I say it often, there's a shirt I have on my "must have" list. All it says is 'w00t!". Actually, if you've ever seen the movie, Stay Alive, it's that very shirt. (he got it from ThinkGeek.com) XD

*Laugh!!!* I missed this, for a while, somehow... >.< The whole "initation-thing:" Yeah, public education has its flaws, but it's not too bad. I never had problems... well, there was like two or three people that said they were going to initiate me... But they never found me... ^_^ And don't worry, you'll actually have something to the extent of friends in high places. XD (Well, I'll be junior then, that's second-lvl! And really rather strange to think about... huh... and I was just entering JH a little while ago... ) But that doesn't mean you should abuse the privilege. If you were asking for it, my friends and I might let them do a little damage before we save you. Nah, not really. Won't let you initiated if I can do something about it. Either way it's really unlikely that you will be, unless you let yourself get initiated by a group of older kids you might hang out with (it's something weird that people actually do, sometimes...) or seriously are asking for it by really trying to be annoying. But if it even does happen, the most people get, usually, is that someone just writes on them with a sharpie, from what I've heard. *Shrugs.* @fox: Really? Congrats. ;D Didn't you say you wanted to write columns, or something to that extent? That is a strange language-type form of communication that is totally beyond me...
