Initially, I just went light on it, since the complex effects I tried for on the previous work didn't come out very well, but he told me it needed to be more globular, so it is.
The goblin salsa you see is DW's fault, really!
--but honestly, blood is something I really need to work on.
It's evocative and universal, and intrinsic to the setting I'm working in.
Plus the way it's color and consistency changes over time is unlike any other substance on Earth. There are so many thousands of factors at play, that you could spend a lifetime drawing nothing but blood, and never fully explore it's depths.
As an artist that's a challenge that really draws me in.

Heh. Hm... I've been drawing something I have to finish, and this topic reminds me of it... *Snrk* Doesn't sound exactly wonderful, now does it? it turned out pretty well. And, heh... the goblin salsa is pretty good-looking. I won't suggest eating it, but hey. XD |

Shouldn't the goblin on the left be bleeding? He's sorta' holding his sword by the blade...
Shading looks good, though I might've added more. That's just me, though.

He's holding it by the sheath, not the actual blade.
