*Laugh!!!* I misspelled laugh, just then, before... Either way... About how long does it take you to draw out an update, if you just sit down and draw it?

Well, that depends a lot on several variables. If I draw anything complex, it takes a lot longer than just drawing a few things I draw a lot of (like Beastling, or Ramjik--they're both easy)
Thief himself almost always takes longer, as he is a much more "realistic" character, so I have more trouble posing him and suchlike.
I'm actually trying something different with the next one, so (as always) it'll be up later than planned. It seems to be taking a bit longer than my usual, so I'll see if the end justifies the time taken...
Oh, yeah. Comic later than planned. Sorry.

Humans, in general, are more difficult to draw than most other things... to most people I know, anyway. Oh well, I'm sure it will turn out well. Where did you get the idea for Dietrich? *Laugh!!!* Now I know what you were doing with it. The characters turned out really well - but the background, in my opinion, lost something. I think it looked better when you had more detail and shading in it. It lost a bit of reality. But the characters did turn out very well. And the water looked good, too.

Dietrich emerged at random from the depths of my mind. I have no idea how he got there.
Yeah...I'm not really happy with the background, either. I think the background's why I don't consider it having been "worth it." I'll probably try something else for the next update.

Maybe you could make the background like you used to, but the characters like they are in this update?
Though, that'd probably take a long time... wouldn't it?

Probably not as long as this took.

When you did this, what took the longest, and what was the hardest?

Even if it wasn't worth it, the coloring DOES look nice d:
Getting better at expressions, too.

Well, I like the coloring on the characters (which took all the time), but the backgrounds are...well...meh.

Heh. I agree - I'm curious, though; is glow what you used in the water and on Thief's hair? Or is there another thing on Paint. net that makes colors blend and fade that I haven't found yet?

The coloring is shiny d:

*Laugh!!!* Well, I've never switched from breathing underwater to breathing above it... but it does sound painful... Oh - interesting avatar, Spookty. ;D

Hmmm, probably.
Also, the avatar is from IZ. "That is no Earth bee!"
If this blinds people I'm gonna use a different color.

Question, Spookty: how is the coloring shiny? So... somebody's killing a smiling, alien bee?

I can see the smiling, alien bee, but where'd the killing come from?
Also, I didn't use glow at all. I used one layer on top of the other, with partial transparency. That's all.
Ugh...I've been busy this week. Almost no progress made on the comic, and I don't like the way it's coming. Expect delays (more, I mean)
