Worked more on Beastling today, started scripting on the next PE comic. Note, however, that you'll get the next chapter page before the actual comic in PE. Still haven't started that. Finals are finished, which means I'll probably have more time to muck with comic stuff...who knows, I may actually manage to get some Cast pages made! By the way, check the PEEP for a new wallpaper.

*Laugh!!!* Question: Is the background to this one made with "cloud" and transparent layers?

Nope. No "cloud" filters at all. Just a conical blue/orange gradient and a Gaussian blur.

Gradients are win. I never really liked the cloud filters..though I've used 'em when following tutorials.

Er... what exactly are the "gradients?" And what's "Gaussian?" I've been meaning to ask that... ;D Blue and orange? It doesn't look like it... neat. My cat is on the keyboard, and now it's making really weird sounds.... O.o (Gonna' go move her...)

Wait wait...
Which "current one" are we talking? 'Cuz if you're talking about PE itself, then yes, I played with all of the above, including Cloud filters, Gaussian blur, and Gradients. 'Twas fun.
Gaussian is the most basic of blurs--it takes and smears each pixel out X pixels. Gradients are colors that blend gradually.

*Laugh!!!* Well... it was kinda silly of me to ask what gradient is... 'cuz I knew that... but I was being... well, me. And I forgot to take off the thing about Gaussian, when I looked it up. >.< Don't I feel brilliant? Heh. Yup, the current update in PE, with the purple and black clouds. ;D What did you think I was talking about?

The most recently mentioned object...which it appears would've been Nikalus.

Oh... heh. Sorry. ' Will you ever share how to read your language? Or will I have to do it myself...?.?.?... ;D

You would share such information? Would you expect me to?
I plan to...eventually...

O.o I don't know... I don't know what you're doing with it.? ;D Will there be things that require our inability to read your language to meet expectations? Well, as long as "eventually" comes along.

Comic wise, there will be times I'll translate it, but mostly I'll leave it misunderstood. The language will begin to be explained in a different comic set, not in PE. I suspect DR will be the comic in question, though that is still up for debate. SW is also a viable culprit, hence the debate. Odds are, whichever I decide to do next will be the one that starts explaining it. The other will just help with the "quirks" and suchlike... And, if you now have even less of a clue as to what's going on: good.

*Laugh!!!* O.O More being made, now? (Yippee!) ;D What are DR and SW called?

DR is Dead Reckoning. It's (mostly) about the barbed wire demon who you see behind the pickup in the Halloween '06 image, way back when. Whoah...2 whole years... SW is Shadow Wolf, and is a working title. Our good friend Mr. E is a somewhat more significant character in that one.

Really? Two years? I guess it was obvious... but it didn't feel that long... I remember when you made that... Neat. How long have you been working on those?
