Anybody go to those? I try to go every year..but I missed it, last year. :<
We're going to the Barbarian theme. x3 It's also my first time going with my new camera, so I hope to get lots of shiny good pictures. I also hope to bring home dragons, pointy things, and turkey legs. =D
Dad said after February, he & Jennifer might get a camper..so -maybe- next year(or after), we can stay the weekend there. ('cause it's so far away) That'd be neat..to stay for the jousting, and whatnot.

*Laugh!!!* Can't say I've ever been to one. Sounds fun, however. Dragons, pointy things, and turkey legs are all very important things. ;D (Perhaps you'll put the pictures in here?)

Oh, it's very fun! Breanna & I are gonna dress up as ninja-pirates, this year. :3 I'm going to be ninja-ish and carry my cutlass, and she's gonna be pirate-y and carry my ninja sword. XD
There's some interesting characters there, though. I've seen everybody from Darth Vader to Shrek, to the Cat in the Hat.
I'll make sure the pictures are kind of small, this time..'cause they take so long to load. >.>

Ooh!
I bet the hardcore medievalists and recreationists hate you for those ninja pirates.
Too bad you'd be having too much fun to care.

You know, my dad said that exact same thing.
The next day, I started watching a program that mentioned pirates & ninjas/samurai in the Renaissance era. :B Combining the two is just part of the fun. =D
I think I'm going to look at European-style swords, though. I have mostly China/Japan-style pointies. No Excalibur replica, yet, though. :C I'd also kind like a Talwar..now that's a cool sword. :3

*Laugh!!* I like just about every kind of sword or other like weapon... I just don't exactly have the spending money... But maybe someday... If I get lucky.

I usually have to rely on people giving them as gifts. ^^; I've bought a few with my own money, though. The most expensive one, thus far, was the one I got in Tombstone.
Definitely looking forward to Saturday! Now that I'm of age to buy them, I'll likely spend most of my time in the sword shops. Though...I do want a dragon. If I can find that dragon-holding-sword again, I'd like to just get that. 'Cause dang...it is made of win.

*Laugh!!!* I think she meant a dragon holding a sword. ;D (If you're thinking the same thing I thought, there.)

Yeah..I couldn't find it, though. I think the store that had it went out of business..meh. I did get me a couple of daggers & Excalibur(EE!)..so I'll have to get those pictures up, soon. My cousin took some real good photos, so I'll have to upload & re-size those today.

Heh. Man, I need a job, so I can buy myself some pointies some day... XD I dislike it when you call someone about a job opportunity and they refuse to even return a call. T.T I know I sound bad over the phone, but yeesh, that bad? XP M'kay, I looke forward to seeing 'em. ;D
