So...I'm curious.
If, for example, I wrote a story -- somewhere between 80-100 pages long (assuming a page size of about 6" by 8", font size 12), would ya'll be interested in it?
If I could get it published, would you be likely to buy it?
Again, if (and only if) such a thing existed, and you were interested in buying it, how much would you expect to pay?
Just curious, so don't read too much into this.
EDIT: Hmm...Google ads ftw, here. Ran into a link for CreateSpace / Amazon.com, and started reading up on the actual possible sizes. I'll have to look into that...
EDIT AGAIN: Interesting...
A bit bigger of a book, but still about the same number of pages. No price change unless you go over 108 pages. No clue as to why 108, instead of, say, 110.
If I'm not careful, I might actually start taking this seriously...

Someone actually got pertinent ads from Google Ads. Consult your apocalyptic almanacs, folks. The end is nigh.

Well, I'm not much of a book reader..so I can't really say. If it's that short, there's a fairly high chance of me reading it, though.

Hmm...
It looks like I'd have to charge about $10 if I'd want to be making a profit off of it, though.
Even then, I still wouldn't ever even see half of that.

Heh... Well, you mentioned looking around. Maybe you'll find another means of publishing it. Knowing the author, as I mentioned earlier, I might pay the amount; if I didn't know you... not so likely to, at that number of pages. But I'm still interested. Any ideas as to what you'd do, about that?
