So...I used a different technique for shading and blending, and I sorta' want all of youse' opinions on it. Its a lot faster than the way I have been doing, but it does require separating the different color sets into layers to keep from blurring all of my colors together. In total, though, there are only about 20 or so layers. Not that many, and most of them are fairly simple. I could re-merge some of them without any loss, but I sort of like having the ability to just delete a layer as an "undo" that stays even after I close... Anyway, opinions?

Neat. I really like the shading effects, they're great. If you want to be able to delete and remake layers, maybe you could save them before you melded them, like this, however that may be?... Also, I like the character. Will he be showing up in either of your projects, anymore?

This guy isn't a part of either Beastling, or Pending Else, so no, he won't show up in them. He's just a character whose design I've been reworking recently, so he ended up being in my head when I started drawing.
As for keeping alt copies, there wouldn't be any point. It would actually end up taking up more space on my computer, to do that, and it doesn't slow it that much, anyway.

I've nothing to critique about..but I must say, he reminds me of Anubis, for some reason.

Heh. ;D
Well, I like it. I saw where Fox is coming from, also. It's probably not "some reason" as much as it is the style of what he's wearing and what he is. I think it's neat, like that, though. Oh, Sudden idea. I wonder if anyone would play along...

You didn't happen to catch the file name, then?

Huh. Well, I guess that would explain why he reminds me of Anubis. =D

Yes, I suppose it would...

Wait, how would you catch the file name...? O.o (Though I think I get the implication. ;D )

By right-clicking the picture, and selecting "Properties". :3

*Snrk* I must be the worst with computers on this forum. ;D Thanks, all, for dealing with that. ' Heh. Then that'd count in the idea-thing I got from this. But I don't know what everyone'd think of it. Maybe I'll try starting it, in here, somewhere...

Hmm...
Been a while since you suggested this, to start with, but now I'm curious...
What's your "idea-thing," and are you still considering it?

Heh. Well, I was thinking about having a sort of group-art activity on mythology (basically over culture and the like, with with the Egyptian dieties, or something else like legends, such as Beowulf, even, or kitsune) in a form similar to that of the 100 Theme Challenge, but slightly different. The forum would produce the themes. By suggestions. Then, if we didn't already all know it, we'd get to learn about it, too... I think that's fun... heh. But for now I'm thinking we're rather busy with the current challenge. Heh.

Heh. Yeah.
The current theme challenge is enough, for now. This does sound fun, though. Maybe I'll come back to it after I finish the 100 themes.
