Ok...here's the thing. I am really considering getting away from proBoards. Virmir has offered to set up a forum on the new sites, which would give me a lot of versatility, and would even let me set up the comic(s) to auto-post the new pages into their own threads, among other things.
There's a problem, though. Proboards does NOT want me to leave. They refuse (and refuse absolutely) to give me any of the data from this forum. Nevermind the fact that everything we've said here is still our own intellectual property, THEY own the database, and they don't want to lose the ad revenue.
Anyway, rant aside...what say you guys?

Hm... I think that a move is in the best interest... It'll be sad to loose our stuff... ... But I think it might be better in the long run. Besides, we can say new stuff. Hm... But... I wonder if you could use screen shots to get all of the old stuff we said and make a thread for it in the new forum, called, "History" or something. Might take a bit of time, but it's sure faster than copying each post and the user information...

Well, I don't plan to delete this forum, just lock it down. I'd like to be able to copy it's data, but...Proboards.

Hm...
That would be okay, I guess. Still. The new forum would still probably be better.

When I switch forum hosts, I don't save any of the old posts. It'd be nice to archive, true..but starting afresh is always the best way to go, imo.

Hmm...
Alright, then. Virmir said he'll set up the new forum this weekend, so I guess we'll be starting anew, then.

I need to rebuilt the OP on my 100 themes thread anyway.
What else do we have to lose?

Nothing, really, and a lot to gain from a technical perspective.
As I said, I'll be leaving this forum here--I'll just lock it down.
And for anyone who's wondering, if you're just after a quick and easy forum with minimal maintenance, Proboards is good, and I'd still recommend it, in spite of my complaining. Yeah, the ads annoy me, and the fact that a lot of things I think should be free are pay only seems a bit greedy, but the service has actually been pretty good.
Well, except for the built in live chat engine. That thing never did work.

Eh, I don't think I'll integrate Vir's chatroom, no. I haven't asked (or really even thought about) whether or not I'll have a chat room of my own.
