Chance of an RP board/thread anytime? I think it'd be fun here. =3 Though, I doubt everybody here would be interested in the same subject for the most part....but it'd still be fun to start.

Hmmm...I couldn't run one, but you're welcome to try. I'll set up the board if you want to try.

A RP board? How does that work?

Basically, it's a game, where you make your characters, then you say what you want them to do, and the guy running it (generally called a GM, or a DM, among others) tells you how it works out.
There's other ways to do it, but that seems to be the most common method.

Huh... are those common? Have you participated in one before? Are they fun?

I never really participated, but I have observed. They look like they could be fun...

Huh... What does the person running it do, and how do they do it? What's the difference between GM and DM? What type of things do they tell you to do, and what type of things do you do about it? (A new subject to analyze... ;D )

I dunno about those kind....I generally play the ones where nobody is really "running" it. There's a basic plot given, and everybody just does their thing, keeping to the plotline.
~And yeah, they're fun. You never really know what's gonna happen next, and, depending on the characters, it can get downright humorous at times.

Yeah. I've done a couple of RPs, but I've never really been able to create any characters. Mostly because I have absolutely no creativity with writing histories/backgrounds
The kind of RPing Dragyn was describing kind of sounds like the tabletop ones d:

Yeah, sounds like it. ~You don't have to do a background/history. I never do. =3 (allthough that's catching up to me..I'm writing 4 mini-stories about different characters. XD) Seriously, though. Ya' don't have to do a bio.
.... SPOOKTY. AVATAR. WIN. *starts singing Santa Song* X3 ~Bow down, bow down, before the power of Santa....
My cousin fell asleep singing that once. XD Hm..idea..I think I know what I might keep my sig/avatar as now.

Curse you, now I have that song stuck in my head.

Something tells me I'm glad I don't know that song...
Though...do you want the board for it? I'm just saying you'd have to take the initiative on it, 'cuz I'm not gonna'.

*Laugh!!!*: D
I don't know that song, either... and I'm gonna' have to side with Dragyn, on that. ;D
Tabletop kind? Backgrounds? O.O ?... (Wants details.)

Tabletop RPGs are played using dice and paper, including rulebooks, usually. They are complex, and usually unique (and therefore, impossible to describe succinctly).
"Background" refers to your character's history. His past, so to speak.
