So world hunger is suddenly a personal issue, because someone who was probably from a third world country, posted in a forum?
Whatever wage he's making doing that gig, he's probably getting paid better than average for his country.
He is the gateway through which our nation's wealth flows out into the world. Him and Wal-Mart.

Not exactly, to me... but it's an issue. And I don't want to help him, in particular, just because he showed up.
I think he could still use help. And if it was done right, helping him could help so many others. Living in America's pretty good, yeah... but why should we get so much while others starve?
*Shrugs* Just opinion. Sorry...
Also, my statements may not make a lot of sense... the world's a dizzy blurr. >.<

I suppose the best thing to do, on a personal level, for world hunger is to become a productive member of society. Create wealth, so there's more to go around, rather than just shuffling around what already exists.
Then give a share of what you make to the AG Disaster Relief Fund or the Red Cross, or something like that. Those who have enough giving to those who don't is one of the most important ways that wealth moves through the world economy, but it's generally considered best to do so through an organization with a reputation for being good at it.
It's like hiring an expert to give your money away for you, so you don't get scammed, or otherwise cause more harm than good.

Heh... I... actually have... plans... ... ... But those don't really need discussing. Besides, ya'll'd probably think I was nuts. Well... in a different way. Bluntly, I guess it pretty much involves just that. Different, in spots, but over-all, yeah.
